Accommodation

Although the festival will keep you busy most of the time, you will probably want to catch some sleep at some point. Having a sleepover at another folkie's house is of course great fun, but there are other options.

Hotel van der Valk

It is no longer possible to use the 3=2 discount for CaDansa. You can still book rooms at the regular rate.

Van der Valk, a hotel located at a 25 minute walk from the OGtent, is offering a 3=2 discount, you will only have to pay for 2 nights, when spending 3 nights at the hotel. When making a reservation, mention you want to use the 3=2 CaDansa discount. Reservations can be made by sending a mail to s.kuiperij@duiven.valk.nl.

Mention Subject: CaDansa 2015, your name and address and when you arrive and leave.
Arrival on thursday (22-10) or friday (23-10). Price 3=2 € 189,00 (€ 94,50 per night and the 3rd night for free), including breakfast. (Exlusiding tourist tax € 1,80 p.p.p.n.) Extra night € 94,50 (1-person) or € 99,00 ( 2-person).

Mobile homes

Last year some people slept at Vakantiepark Arnhem. You can share these with 6-8 people. This year, if you make a reservation through this link, you will receive 15% discount.

Camping at the farm and straw hotel

For the true adventurers: farm camping including organic breakfast!

You can pitch your tent in the orchard of ecological farm the Horsterhof, or sleep on hay bales in the farmer’s (half open) hayshed. The hay bales are stored next to the cows in the half open shed. It can be quite chilly in October, so this is an option for real diehards.

The facilities are very limited; there is only a toilet. You can use the shower near the festival grounds. The farm is located 3 km from the festival grounds, easily manageable by bike or car, but also within walking distance for those who enjoy a nightly walk…

Staying here will cost 15 euros per person, per night, including an ecological brunch. You can reserve a spot by sending an email to info@koningskeuken.nl. Spots in the hay barn are limited, so make sure to make a reservation as soon as possible. The camping option is unlimited; if the orchard is full you can pitch your tent on one of the other fields. The farm’s address is Horsterstraat 1, Duiven.

Sleepover network

We have set up a sleepover network again this year, unfortunately not many people have signed up yet offering up their place.
So if you live close to Duiven (or Arnhem/Nijmegen) and you would like a house full of guests, sign up on our website!

Campervans

In the Netherlands it is unfortunately not allowed to park your campervan on a street with the purpose of spending the night there. Doing this may earn you a fine. That is why we are working hard to organize a place where you can park your campervan. If we succeed we will ask for a small fee (15 euros), which will include use of the mobile shower unit on the primary school grounds. You can already sign up at , and we will keep you posted on any new developments.

Primary school “de Wereldwijzer”

Last year’s workshop location, primary school de Wereldwijzer, will be used as sleeping accommodation this year. Our volunteers will sleep here, but we do have a limited number of spaces left for festival visitors. You will need to bring your own airbed, sleeping bag, etc. Visitors without their own mode of transport (and no one to offer them a lift) and those who have to travel far will be given priority on these spots.

We have 25 spots available for festival visitors. These will cost 30 euros for the entire weekend. Breakfast is not included. We will place a mobile shower unit on the school grounds that you can use.

For now all these places are given away already. You can reserve a spot on the waitinglist by sending an email to .
